When I looked back at July 4th in my 2nd year of blogging, I couldn’t believe I posted several items last year. Here is one of my favorites.

The Saturday Evening Post has been published under that name since 1897 but can trace it origins back to Ben Franklin.  In honor of Independence Day, here are the covers of this historical magazine on or about Independence Day during World War 2.
